I have just moved Paradox 4.0 from an early pentium machine where it was running in DOS to an XP machine where it is running via the command prompt under windows.
All is working excellent, much faster, but when printing reports it takes ages for the printer (Epson LQ-300) to start.
On the old machine as you hit enter the printer would start immediately, now it takes a good 20 - 30 secs and then sometimes 'stalls' mid way for 5 -10 secs and starts again.
