hey I created a linked server to the as400 and i am getting an error.

AN EXCEPTION occurred while executing a transact-sql statement or batch.

cannot initialize the data source object of OLE DB provider "IBMDA400" for linked server.

would you have a thought as to why this is happening?

i am able to create the linked server using Microsoft OLE DB provider for indexing service, but i am not able access the tables.
