Question How many threads recommend defining in ADABAS V32215 at an HP-UX 11.11 with 4 process

I have a doubt. How many threads recommend defining in ADABAS V32215 at an HPUX 11.11 with 4 processors?.

Hello -

THe number of threads is dependent upon the level of activity. A good number to start with would be 4 - 6. Then using the display highwater-mark command you will see whether or not increasing the thread value is justified.

Regarding the 4 processor question - ADABAS can only make use of one processor as it does not spread itself across CPUs.
