Been having trouble with this one.

Need and Adabas/Natural DBA for Brooklyn, NY. Location is the downtown area, 10 mins from Wall Street.

We are looking for someone with exceptional technical skills in the mainframe environment. This individual will be part of a high and interactive team that installs and configures natural and Adabas software in a complex mainframe environment. This individual would be responsible for implementations of new version and product maintenance as well as planning of project and communcaiton as related to specific projects. Will also be required to provide level 3 technial support for Adabas Natural and related product suite. We are looking for a team player with good communcation skills and someone who possesse high degree of techncail problem solving ability, to focus on our Adabas Natural product suite. This person will be required to perform occassional weekend and after hours work.

Skills required: 5-10 yrs of Adabas and Natural experience Strong Adabas experience (v7.1.3 and above) Internals / Fundamentals / Installation / Operations Strong Natural experience both in working with Natural and installing Natural. Natural V3.1.6 Internals a strong plus. Predict, Entire System Server, natural ISPF, Natural DB2 experience. MVS OS/390, ZOS / JES2 JCL experience.

Skills desired: Assembler knowledge a distinct plus. Previous Natural Coding experience as a developer. CICS environment knowledge. Project Management skills. SAS coding knowledge. Knowledge of windows products such as Word, Excel, etc.
