Can an Java Array be passed to a SP

Hi,
Is it possible to pass an Array (Vector) to a Stored Procedure written COBOL and SQL stored in OS/390. If array can be passed as an input parameter then it can be received via an COBOL Array in the SP.
Can anybody any suggestion to this.
