I'm looking to develop ASP pages linked to SQL databases based completely on a laptop.

I understand (please correct me)

That the laptop can be anything from Win 98 - 2000.

SQL Personal Edition can create and change the structures of the databases.

SQL Personal Edition can create and change the tables within a Database.

The Minimum spec is ???

Please could you help me fill in the blanks

I have installed Personal Edition 8i.xxx on a 750 Mhz, 32 MB memory,
10 Gig disk and it runs perfect and quick.

The PE from Oracle is a complete relational database. You can do everything with PE what you can do with a server side installed Oracle.

We had some problems with the debugger, but I do not know, if this is a problem of PE.
