Writing Generic Stored Procedures for MS SQL and ORACLE

Hi Experts,

Is any one seen a tool or developed a tool which will enable us to create a single version of stored procedures( May be a hybrid/macro version of T SQL and PL/SQL), which can be used for both Oracle and MS SQL?

My requirement is to minimise the maintenance of two different versions of stored procedures, instated I need to maintain a single version of stored procedures script( which is nither MS SQL nor Oracle syntax) and run through a tool which will compile my script to produce required syntax( either Oracle or MS SQL).

if you provide any clue of achieving this that will be great !!

Thanks in Advance
MGSri
