Seagate Crystal Reports

hai,
i am working with an existing report. now i want to fetch another field and add to the report. the problem is we can modify only FROM and WHERE clauses in the query. if i want to add another field to the SELECT fields, it is not working. if anybody know the process to add a field in the SELECT expression then help me. (immediately please).
