MSDE login using PHP

Hi,

I have a problem login in to my MsSQL db.
My configuration is:
windows XP pro
IIS 5.1
MSDE 2000a
PHP4.3.4

my php gives following error:

Warning: mssql_connect(): Unable to connect to server: JANPORTABLE in D:\Website\Intern\include\config.inc.php on line 8

Warning: mssql_select_db(): supplied argument is not a valid MS SQL-Link resource in D:\Website\Intern\include\config.inc.php on line 9

i check username and password and hostname
