Restoring Database to PRE-Replicated State

Is there a script or procedure that will allow me to remove existing replication, and drop the "rowguid" column that is created in my tables? Currently, I have tried to remove the publishers, and remove replication, then tried to delete the rowguid column. I got an error telling me that is was still replicated. I think I have missed something. I'd like to get my database back to the condition it was in prior to replicating it.

Thanks in advance!
