Question Robocopy Question

Hello... I have recently structured scripts that will run on a windows server and process via a batch environment. To copy files to several global folder locations, I am utilizing Robocopy. Can anyone provide insight as to how Robocopy handles OPEN or INBOUND files as the copy initiates? Absent any logic to determine if the file is growing in size, I am curious to understand how I can avoid sending partial files or preventing Robocopy from addressing Open files at the time of copy.

Lastly, one of my locations is a UNIX box, which utilizes samba. Robocopy moves the required folders/files to the Unix box, but for some reason adds a space at the end of any subdirectories contained within the parent/root and fails at that point.

Any suggestions or input is appreciated.

Regards, Paul
