Can someone please tell me how to remove "read only" attribute from a file which will ot grant me access? I am the administrator but when I transferred data from Works to disc it will no longer allow me to edit the file on the disc. I can't understand why not when I have de-selected read only. It gives the error message "access denied".

What type of disk is it on, and what operating system?
