How to deactivate a program from running

hi
i have a pro n that is i have downloaded a bluetooth program,so whenever i switch my computer on that program runs automatically ,i want to stop it from running n make it run whenever i want,for that i have checked all of its options to find out that from where to stop it but there no such is available so can u plz suggest that how to cop with it?
