NET USE statments and XP problems

I am having a problem with trying to get a HP LaserJet 1320 (usb connector) to work with a qbasic program.

To further complicate matters the laptop i'm using doesn't have printer outputs. Just usb ports.

So if anyone can tell me how to get the net use to work I would really appreciate hearing from you.

This is the info on the printer DOT4_001 HP LASERJET 1320 PCL
