we use Impromptu version 6.0 to query an Informix database (can connect
happily to the database via the Cognos Impromptu admin tools and run reports). However the Cognos scheduler has packed up which is causing me a nightmare and in 2 days of rebuilding I still get the same error message which means I have to run 50 reports manually at present

Urgent COGNOS SCHEDULER up the creek. ERROR 24608

when trying to insert a task it comes up with "error 24608 Impromptu is
busy at this time. this is not a valid operation at the moment"
we are at year end and it means I have to run the reports manually!!!!
does anyone have any fixes for this.
