we are having compaq proliant 3000 server, while we are booting the server its works well. but after some time it shows the following Error
PANIC: cpqw:--PCI Bus parity error(Bus0,dev9,func0) Hour 9,5/21/7
Trying to dump 32667 pages to dumpdev hd(1/41),409 pages per '.'.
WARNING: Nested NMI(#32) on processor #1 -alreadty processing an NMI(#32) and system hangs. pls give to suggestions to takle this problem.

A server related forum

it sounds like you have a hardware fault,
so if you are not covered by a maintenance agreement Id look at what ever device is number 9 on your PCI bus 0

and perhaps work out what could be generating a non maskable interrupt.

my gut feeling is that if you cant clear the fault by say reseating the card, Id replace it.
