Convert Commence CRM Database to (My)(Postgre)SQL

Hello to all,

Currently we're working for a company that uses Commence CRM. But right now they want their own customized system and they want it webbased.

Therefore we need to transfer all the data from the current Commence CRM program to another database (MySQL or PostgreSQL)

Due to the ammount of data (over 75000 customers) we would really be happe to find or to write a conversionscript. One probleme, we can't find anything usefull on the net, in the manuals,... about exporting data out of commence...

Anyone any knowledge about this topic?

There is no need to convert the database for this company. It is extremely easy to customise Commence to whichever need by using the menu-customize-database function. There is a Dutch company called Memocom who sells an Internet connector to use the Commence software webbased. Check out www.memocom****.

Good luck.

I have been an advanced Commence Database developer for over 15years.
If exporting is the only option then I can help with bespoke software
or better help you modify their current Commence database to suit.
See my web site www.kbit.co.uk for tools and contact info.

The original poster was last online here nearly two years ago. So, I wouldn't hold my breath...
