search for a string (REG_SZ) in VBS

I am looking for VBS code that allows me to search for a string in a registry key value. If the String does not exist, append a new string to the existing string value.

Example regsitry key: HKEY_Current_User\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\Curre ntVersion\Internet Settings\ProxyOverride

Any assistance would be appreciated.
