Hi folks,

I am doing a project in my school involving creating an application that can be used by teachers in my local school. The users will have their own personalized web page where they can create personal calendars, lists of books they have read, class lists, a section to upload docs etc. From my limit experience in IT, i used Microsoft Sharepoint before, and that has the capability to do what i outlined above. But this will be a web application that will be accessible though the schools website. What technology would ye guys recommend me using to create this web app? Or is there a version of Sharepoint out there that doesn't require a server to run it? Let me know your thoughts. Your help will be greatly appreciated!!
