SQL database tool

Hello -
I have experience running SQL on an Oracle DW using Toad at my previous job. I'm looking for an easy to use (and preferably free) solution where I can just import some csv files and play around with the data via running some SQL scripts. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Import into what kind of database? You don't say. (SQL is a language, not a database...)

Most of the free tools do not allow import from csv in the free version. But I'm sure you can achieve the same with SQL scripting. I think dbvis allows you to run random sql on any backend, but I dont know about import.

I just couldn't resist plugging our product which does what you asked for in a very different manner (check my signature for more info)
