Viewing database of unknown type

Hi!

I have a computer program which gives me an interface to browse a certain database. However, I want to access the database directly, in order to make more flexible queries.

I have no idea what kind of database the program uses, but in the installation folder, there is a folder containing files with the endings .b, .i, .iz and .b1. I suspect that the data is inside these files.

Is there anyway I can access this data using a database viewer?
