Database Tool

DB Tools
Is there another cheaper / shareware db tool on the market that is similar to dbartisan? Need it to create Stored procs, etc...
I know there is a similar tool that has the same look and feel of dbartisan, but I can't remember the name.

DBArtisan is more management tool, you can get special add-in for development process, but...

So do you need management tool or development tool? Also what platform? Cheap tools usually do very limited work.

check www.quest.com - they have tools for management, development and monitoring. If you use Oracle, their TOAD is a must!

for MS SQL development is not bad MS Visual Studio Ent.

if you want something super cheap, try http://www.indus-soft.com/winsql - I use their free version for quick queries into many datasources....

or some freeware.... nothing special....
for MS SQL http://www.laplas-soft.com
for ORACLE http://www.sqltools.net

Thumbs up

Hi,

TOAD is the best one to be used along with ORACLE. You'll also get a supplementary SQL NAVIGATOR tool along with it.
