MDAC Microsoft Data Access Component

I have a problem with MDAC Microsoft Data Access Component where my system was running on the version 2.0 MDAC but after the development I fine out that my client current implementation is on version 2.1 and there are LIVE system running on my client side. So I would like to know is there anyway for upgrading the MDAC from version 2.0 to version 2.1 with affect the current implementation
or there is anything I can do about it?? Please help me about that?
