Writing a batch file for stopping different processes/programs

Dear All,

I want to stop multiple programs by using the batch file. any solution ?

Example :
I had written two server prgs in java namely server1 and server2. Now i want to stop these two servers by using a batch file.

Note : Before terminating the program(s), check should be done whether these prgs are in run mode or not.

Any sugesstions for the above stated?
