Does anybody know what software is lately used for developing character based applications ? Something that will look like DOS based applications in Windows, not use/require a mouse & most of the data entry could be done using keyboard only ???

I know, earlier Foxbase, Foxpro & Filepro were used. But what is used lately ???

Or is it that applications developed in VB also can be simulated ???
