Need to create a COM component to read Word doc

Hi there,

I am trying to create a simple COM component that will be able to read a text from the Word document (*.doc files). Anyone has any help on how to start, or where on the web I can find something useful about this.

ps. I have used the COM before (C++ experience), but never created the component from the scratch that will deal with MS Word...
