Need a stupid question answerd

Hi,

This question is gonna sound pretty stupid....

I need to edit a .db file, the .db is similar to the windows xp thumbnail .db files...would anyone know of a really n00bie program i can edit such files with....i have tried excel but it doesnt like it

Any help would be much appriciated
