Arrow limitation of asp or vb.net

Can i use asp and html and communicate with database like microsoft sql
create forms,verify information, or retreive information

or should i use vb.net


Meaning I need just one language for web interface with database and free trail software

i only know HTML

You can do it with either... I would suggest asp is probably going to be easiest for you if all you know is html.

I refer to "Using Active Server Pages" from Que, but there are plenty of online tutorials for FREE!
