Perl compiler

Dear Perl forums members:

I want to learn perl programming. Could someone tell me where I can download a compiler that is stable and easy to use (website).

I also want to know what are the pupular compilers that are used in the industry. I appperciate your hlep!

You can get the Perl interpreter and many related tools at http://www.perl.org/

If you're running under Windows, you can try the ActiveState interpreter. www.activestate.com --- look for Languages>ActivePerl or New Releases>ActivePerl (two releases are available).
