Scientific notation

Hello,

I'm having in a NUMBER(10, 6) column the value 1E-6. I need to have the value in "regular" decimal format but can't find the conversion function.

This column stores the applyed percentage of an amount and/or a quantity. I need to transform it to have the effective amount (or quantity) based on the amount (or quantity) before the application of this percentage...

I usually have a usable formated number in that column. So. What's the magic trick to do that in a SELECT statement?

Thanks a million.

A number is a number - they're all stored the same. You're just seeing a display format. I'll assume you're using sql*plus, so "set numwid 20"
