Question Accessing os 400 using perl

Does anyone suggest me which tools I need to access DB2 tables on a os400 V5R2 system?
I have a perl cgi running under solaris 8.0 which need some data avaliable on IBM os400.

Do you have basic connectivity to the OS400, using the standard, IBM supplied tools? Without that basic connectivity, I wouldn't even try to use Perl yet.

Which are the standard IBM supplied tools ? I don't know the name of the packages that I need to install on Solaris machine. When installed those packages, I'll be able, using DBI and DB2 interfaces, to access os400 data.
