Exclamation how to create a login page using asp ??

how do i create a login page where if:

1) username is invalid, it will show the Login_InvalidUser.asp;
2) username valid but password invalid, it will show the Login_InvalidPass.asp
3) Both valid, it will proceed to Home.asp

err,.. use response.redirect is your simple answer.... however it is probably better not to do it the way you have suggested.... it would be better to pass a state to the orginal login page. the orginal login page can check the state and produce a message identifying the problem.

Additionally you shouldn't tell then what is wrong just that it failed. If you give them a reason it will only help people hack the site.
