Question Login dialog boxes

Hi

I am trying to validate Oracle UserID's and passwords in an ASP.NET application where the UserID and password is not necessarily the same as the Windows login ID.

Is it possible that I can call the standard dialog box that is used to validate access to a web page and get the values that are returned from it? What I would really like to do is to open a modal dialog box with 2 fields so that I can validate the Oracle credentials when someone tries to use any database functions in the application, but don't really want to create a specific web form to do this unless I really have to.

Is it possible?

Thank you
