Problems connecting to ase 11.9.2

Hi All,
This is my very first posting to this forum.
Please indicate if I posted to the wrong place.

I have an ase 11.9.2 installed on windows2k server. The client machines are on windows xp.

I have successfully installed the sybase server on w2k and the client sybase products on xp.

Everything was running fine untill I brought the server down in order to upgrade the memory space(ram).

Eversince, whenever I try to connect from the client machines I get a ct_lib connection message("...between 2 endpoints fails).

Even after reinstalling the Sybase Client Software on the machine, I get the same error message.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks to all
Karim

Hi,
this indicates a network error. Check network addresses (don't forget port numbers) in 'interfaces' files and odbc drivers.

Did you start the server ? Have you access to the Sybase on the server himself ?
