Permission Denied Error with CDonts on a Win 2003 Server

I noticed that CDonts will not send any emails out and gives a permission denied error. I went to the mailroot folder and added the IUSER account with full rights and still does not work.

Has anyone seen this issue with a Win 2003 Server?

See if this article will help you. It is a walkthrough from the start but if anything you can always go over it and see if you miss anything. Also if this is a default install of Win2k3, CDONTS is not installed by default.

I have installed the CDonts.dll file to the server and although it does work for the administrators of the box it is the general users who are given 'Permission denied'.

I went to the mailroot folders to make sure that IUSER was given modify access but I still get the same error.

I'm not sure how to replace CDONTS with CDOSYS since there are no really good tutorials that help with what I'm doing.

Where else could security be an issues with Windows Server 2003?
