sybase 12.0 on Nt page alloction error

i had a sybase12.0 run on winNt when i restart the ase server the errorlog made some error text "my owned db is suspects" when i used update sysdatabases set status =-32768 where name ="my db" and restarted the OS
this time the error message is"my db recovery is failed because some page allocation .....failed(i losted the errorlog)
i want to know in the condition("my db is offline") if i can use dbcc checkalloc(mydb,fix) to check and fix it
please help me i don't have enough time !
