Found these forums, and just joined so I wanted to say hi. I am a Java and website dev, and am wanting/needing to get more in depth with DBs. This looks like the place to get some knowledge outside of the formal classroom. Anyway, I am from Long Island, New York, and hopefully I can contribute as much as I learn here.

That would be good, we seem to be somewhat short on the Java gurus, so we'll nominate you!

Anywho, welcome to DBForums. Feel free to wander about, jump into conversations when you can, just lurk when you feel like it. We're just a wee bit laid back, but everybody appreciates the help whenever they can get it.
