| First time poster.
I am a Geographic Information Systems (GIS) guy, trying to get into the DBA side of the IT house. Merging Spatial Databases is what I'm looking into and I figured since its such a new field, I better get my feet wet with regular RDMS's.
This looks like a lively forum.

What are you REFERRING TO? DBA/GIS or a combination of the two? |
I need to fusion data from spatial databases, such as ESRI Personal Geodatabase & ESRI Enterprise Database w/ MS Access/SQLServer databases (non-spatial) and possibly text.
