Hi to all,

Is is possible to add 4 or more columns in one ALTER TABLE statement in mySQL? So that I can save a lot of typing, so far I could not figure it out. What I am trying to do is create each ALTER TABLE statement for each new column that I am trying to add.

ALTER TABLE daTable
ADD COLUMN foo INTEGER
ADD COLUMN bar INTEGER
ADD COLUMN qux INTEGER

hey thanks, but your statement lacks a comma.

I have found out that it should be like this:

ALTER TABLE tblName 
ADD COLUMN col1 date,
ADD COLUMN col2 date,
ADD COLUMN col3 date;
