I'm trying to perfom level 0 (onbar -b -L0)informix databese and i'm getting the following error message:

31277 (-43295) WARNING:BAR_TIMEOUT unable to intialize connection to Storage

Hi,

Have you configured a storage manager or ISM. Or do you want to just make an easy back-up. If the second situation is the case use the back-up utility ontape (ontape -s -L 0). That should do the trick...
