displaying yyyymmm date format as dd/mm/yy

Hi,

I've a column (datatype is char) which stores date as yyyymmm.
I want it to display as dd/mm/yyyy.
I'm using 2000i.

Can anybody help me?

You would need to parse the date after the data is returned and then display it however you want.
If you want more specific information, you need to give us more. Things like how are you retrieving the date, (Btrieve vs SQL), what programming environment, and what you have tried.
