what's wrong with this case statement?

If anyone can help with this simple syntax issue:

I keep getting a syntax error for the following statement:

============
Select (Case when statement_secid = 'xyz' Then 1 Esle 0 End) as col1

From tb_statement

============

only the "Esle" ...
I do not see any error on syntax....
