Its me Radha

hai to all,
I am working with the Perl scripting language.In my programme input i have given one file name, and when i am executing that programme i am getting the output. But when i am changing the input file name i am getting an syntax error at the input file. Even i am having the write permissions for the file.
Please suggest me how can I solve this problem.
