Pointe Technology Group is currently searching for a DB2 DBA to support our client, in Woodlawn, MD(Baltimore). This is a multi-year contract with a competitive annual salary and benefits. Qualified candidates should meet the requirement listed below:

Mainframe DB2 DBA experience – at least 5 years
Prior experience in mainframe application development/design
Experience with DB2 utilities and CA tools
Knowledge of data modeling and the ERwin/ModelMart modeling tool.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to research problems and provide solutions
May be requested to mentor the client staff
May be required to provide weekend/off-hours support
Requires 10+ years of specific experience with a BA/BS degree
This work effort involves providing development and maintenance support of mainframe DB2 application databases in all environments. The candidate will be participating in the development of new databases, modifying existing databases, and performing the routine maintenance of existing databases.
