Dump fails

Hi All,

while dumping the database fo ASE 15 version (solaris sparc platform), Dump database fails at the middle. Is there any way in Sybase to recover the remaining dump?

Unlikely. What was the error that ended the dump?

One possible reason that dump is failing is that ur partition on which u r taking the dump is getting full. Check that.

Check backup server error log instead of ASE dataserver errorlog.
