My name is Jason Hess and I am a recruiter with Macaulay Brown, Inc. a defense contractor. We are looking for an Oracle DBA with a Top Secret security clearance here in Dayton, Ohio as follows:

Job Description:

The candidate for this position will be responsible for developing PL/SQL stored procedures for Oracle databases. He/she will be required to code, unit test, support systems and integration testing, and implement software. Position will require interface to government customer, attending requirements meeting, and implementing requirements. The candidate should have knowledge of geospatial information and its data management techniques.
This individual will be responsible for:
Developing back-end, database centric solutions utilizing the following:
Oracle including RDBMS, Partitions, jobs, triggers, scripts, and views, multi-processor DMBS, spatial indexes, enabled data fields.
ESRI ARC suite of products including ARCGIS, ARCServer, and the SDE.
Developing data ingest, cataloguing, indexing, and storage capability to support the ingest of high-volume, near real time data feeds.
Developing the capability to allow storage of data from multiple classification levels.
Working directly with the Denver counterpart in engineering and developers to determine software interfaces with the back-end solution.

Job Requirements:

The successful candidate for this position will possess upwards of 5 years of Sun Solaris, Oracle, PL/SQL experience with the creation of PL/SQL stored procedures that allow for varied access methods to the stored data. Experience querying large datasets and tuning queries for best performance. Must have excellent communications skills and the ability to work with the customer to determine requirements and development strategies.
Basic qualifications/ Required experience:
Requires a bachelors degree in engineering or computer science, or
equivalent experience, plus a minimum of six years of full-time,
progressive experience in relational database administration and
management.
Four or more years database administration experience on Oracle
databases.
Three or more years experience performance tuning of relation databases.
Three or more years experience in a UNIX operation environment.
Requires two or more years experience working with replicated database -
Oracle
Three or more years experience with database concepts such as relation
theory, configuration management and/or backup/recovery
Requires two or more years experience successfully advising management
and customer on database architecture issue and applications.
Demonstrated experience in effectively presenting technical information
to nontechnical audiences.
Demonstrated ability to produce solutions for complex technical database
problems.
Requires US citizenship.
Requires ability to satisfy requirement for TS/SCI SSBI security
clearance.
