Temporary buffer overflow occurred while scanning the lock table

I am getting following error
Temporary buffer overflow occurred while scanning the lock table
I search in that they mention that
This is an informational message and nothing needs to be done about it.
As per my understanding there is no space in buffer to stored the lock.
But my question is where these locks stored and If i increase number of locks parameter value then it will solve or not.

Yes you can ignore it. Guess you tried to select from syslocks. Since its an in-memory worktable and is very dynamic, you get this error.
