can fields take attachments?

Got an interesting question from one of my developers today..... in Sybase, can you attach a .pdf, .xls or .doc file to any field (datatype) in the Sybase database? I don't know about this. Thought I would check with DBAs that are smarter than I am Thanks.

You should be able to store any kind of file in an image column.
