not a valid integer value

Hi,

Im pretty new to the whole Oracle world, coming from a teradata background. Im trying to compile a package body and keep getting an error
'IN_OBJ_NAME' is not a valid integer. The specification has been compiled, both procedures have been declared in here with parameters matching the body.

I have looked but cant spot the error as this variable is only specified twice in the code as a parameter passed into two procedures, and both times declared as VARCHAR2 - any ideas what could be wrong?

This is my first post so a big ('please help me') Hello to everyone!

Cheers,
Gerard

....
VALUES ( g_process_run_id , substr(in_obj_name,1,60), substr(in_text,1,4000), in_dt, USER, USER
, rec.machine, rec.program ,ncpu_used ,nphy_read ,nredo_size , p_process_id);

Why do you expect help to debug code we can not see?

My car won't go.
Tell me how to make my car go.

the proc code

I have made a bit more progress on this - I'm sure I'll be back later with another ('unexplained') problem.
Thanks

using SQLPLUS along with CUT & PASTE, do the same for TBL_LOG table
Code:
SQL> desc TBLSMSRESPONSES Name Null? Type ----------------------------------------- -------- ---------------------------- ADDRESS NOT NULL VARCHAR2(20) RESPONSESTARTID NOT NULL NUMBER(38) RESPONSEENDID NOT NULL NUMBER(38) EVENTHISTID NOT NULL NUMBER(38)
