Question text-to-column fixed width

I have data as per below

*** ABC
** DEF
* GHI


HOw can i use text to columns to split this so i have ABC in one column DEF in another column and GHI in another column

What do the asterisks represent?
If the required element of the data is always the last three characters, use
Code:
RIGHT(Cell, 3)
in the destination column.
